In the conclusion I will offer an overview of the main observations and most significant findings related to my research and applications. Next, there is a discussion with four examples on how the transpersonal coach can make use of the archetypal imagery in an expanded state of mind respecting the boundaries of coaching. In the literature review section, I will offer an overview of transpersonal coaching, the participatory framework, the platonic roots of astrology, archetypal astrology, dream work, imaginal psychology and somatic centred meditations. The paper is composed of four main sectors: introduction, the literature review, the discussion with examples and the conclusions. Based on the themes that emerged from the personal explanations of the participants, I found that archetypal work in a mindful and embodied state, can tune us into what is happening within the unconscious mind, and can lead to the discovery of dormant qualities and resources, to significant insights and inspired actions and to a better understanding of unity with others and with the cosmos. The practice of archetypal work in an expanded state of mind, motivated participants to develop a co-creative relationship with their unconscious. Applying the methodology of organic inquiry, six participants took part in five sessions of transpersonal coaching, which were designed to develop a co-creative relationship with the unconscious by working with images. In this paper I will discuss the value of addressing astrological archetypes and dream symbols as an additional set of knowledge that can provide both the client and the transpersonal coach with an understanding of higher realities, higher selfawareness, and the possibility of active co-creation.
